Smoking Shelters
All our shelters comply with the rule in legislation which
sates that not more than 50% of the shelter can be made of
solid walls. HALF SHELTER, HALF AIR = SHELTAIR!
All shelters are suitable for commercial buildings, pubs,
and hotels, and can come in a variety of sizes, please see
below. Although you are not required by law to provide an
outdoor smoking shelter, it makes good sense to provide facilities
which keep your customers and employees happy, and at the
same time keep your premises clean, and free of cigarette
butts.
It is a legal duty to make all users of your building aware
that you are smoke free, which means informing them with signs,

If you fail to prevent smoking in a smoke free place, there
is a maximum fine of £2500 imposed on whoever manages
the building. By providing a smoking shelter, you are making
sure you stay on the right side of the law!
 We
supply products which are manufactured to last using the highest
spec raw materials available so your purchase will withstand
many years of hard wear and tear. All shelters are designed
for easy access and smoke dispersal.
The freestanding smoking shelters and the wall supported
smoking shelters are 2455mm x 1020mm modular construction
and are made out of Heavy Duty rectangular steel section which
is finished with AKZO Nobel 15 year galvanised exterior guaranteed
powder coat (Bismuth in colour, grey) which makes them rust
and corrosion free.
The sides are 6mm thick UV resistant polycarbonate panels
supported with mid height horizontal steel bars. Polycarbonate
is a clear plastic many times stronger than glass and is shatterproof
and fire resistant. The panels are held in by a full surround,
powder coated steel glazing strips.

All shelters are designed for easy access and
smoke dispersal.
The shelter is anchored with easy fix foot plates
with expandable bolts. The flat roof slopes and
overhangs the frame and is in-filled with triple
wall, translucent polycarbonate sheeting.
The shelters come with everything supplied and
are easily installed – simply bolt together,
or ask us to install the smoking shelter for you.

These 'Wall supported' shelters have no polycarbonate
panels and horizontal mid height bars on the wall
side.
Otherwise they are identical to the Free Standing
Shelters.
